DONNA GREER POLLOCK

Donna Jean Greer Pollock, age 59, of Iron City, GA passed away Wednesday evening, June 20, 2018 at her residence.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating.  The family will receive friends at the home in Iron City immediately following the service until 6:00 PM.Mrs. Pollock was born in Orlando, FL on October 5, 1958 to Charles Greer and Doris Servis Greer.  She worked for a number of years as a registered nurse with Donalsonville Hospital and Miller County Hospital before retiring.  She was a devoted wife and mother, a career nurse, and enjoyed quilting and sewing.  The biggest enjoyment and love of her life was her family.She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Larry Pollock, Jr. and wife Kelly and David Pollock and wife Tonya of Donalsonville, GA; her siblings, Louise Kelly, Ronnie Smith, Charlene Gorman, Richard Greer, and John Allen Greer; grandchildren, Jeremy Lee Busby, Brittney Danielle Pollock, Cameron Blake Pollock, Tristin Blane Pollock, Christopher Shane Pollock, Christian Taylor Pollock, Samuel David Pollock, Jr., and Leanne Maylin Pollock; great grandchildren, Chloe Grace Holt, Bryson Lee Holt, Paisley Jade Holt, and Natalie Faith Busby; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.Mrs. Pollock was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Greer and Doris Servis Greer; her husband, Larry Earl Pollock; and siblings, Joyce Sexton and Elmer Greer.
