DOROTHY JOANNA EUBANKS HATFIELD

Dorothy Joanna Eubanks Hatfield, age 58, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday morning, July 5, 2023 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Lake Seminole Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to honor Jo Jo's life, may be made to Gentiva Hospice, an organization which she dedicated her life to, 432 E. Shotwell Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.

Mrs. Joanna was born on December 26, 1964, to Lenward  "Sonny" Eubanks and Barbara White Eubanks. She was a devoted nurse and loved all of her hospice patients. Mrs. Hatfield had a loving heart and she loved BIG. She was very devoted to her family and friends and would do anything for anyone when called upon. Mrs. Joanna was a member of the Lake Seminole Baptist Church  and  former member of the Lake Seminole Lions Club. She will leave a void in the lives of many that will be impossible to fill.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Larry Hatfield of Donalsonville, GA; her daughter, Lara Hatfield of Athens, GA; her sisters, Joanie Easterwood and Gina Alday (Eddie) both of Donalsonville, GA; her brothers, Greg Eubanks (Sharlene) and Ward Eubanks both of Donalsonville, GA, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Hatfield was preceded in death by her parents, Lenward "Sonny" and Barbara Eubanks; her aunt, Dorothy Johnson; and her cousin, who was more like a sister to her, Jan Hatcher.
