EDWARD MICKIE CROOM

Edward Mickie Croom, age 66, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Friday evening, August 18, 2023, at his residence.

No services are being planned at this time, per Mickie's wishes.

Mr. Croom was born in Donalsonville, GA on Feb. 12, 1957, to Edward Carlton Croom and Bobbie Jean Wright Croom.  He was a 1975 graduate of Seminole County High School and worked as a heavy machinery operator.  Mickie served his country in the National Guard and was a part of Operation Desert Storm. He was a Mason and enjoyed spending time outdoors.  Mickie enjoyed building things, and had just recently completed a project for his daughter of an outdoor pizza oven.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Laura Croom of Iron City, GA; his siblings, Cecil Croom and his wife Susie, Kent Croom and his wife Linda, and Rhonda Carroll and her husband Don; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.  Also surviving is a close buddy who he served with during Desert Storm, Spencer Mock.

Mr. Croom was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Bobbie Jean Croom and his stepmother, Geneva Croom.
