EDWARD EARL POWELL

Edward Earl Powell, age 78, of Iron City, Ga passed away Monday morning, July 1, 2019 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Powell will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating.  Interment will follow in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Powell was a retired machinist and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Powell is survived by his sister, Linda Preston and her husband Dave of Crestview, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Grady “Bud” Powell and Vermell Cummerford Powell; a sister, Betty Sue Mathis; and a niece, Kerry Aultman.
