Elizabeth Bette Towns

Elizabeth “Bette” Jane Towns, age 76, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at her residence. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Mrs. Towns was born in Lexington, KY on March 22, 1943 to Robert Paul and Hallie Yarborough Paul.  She worked for a number of years as a paraprofessional and secretary in the Seminole County School System.  Mrs. Towns loved traveling with her family, was an avid book reader and drama was her passion.  She especially loved and enjoyed anything to do with the Olive Theatre.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Elicia Blackburn of Donalsonville, GA, Nicole Harmon and Ryan of Bella Vista, AR, and Robert H. Towns and Rachel of Pensacola, FL.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Morgan Davis, Kayleigh Harmon, Addison Towns, Logan Towns, Wyatt Blackburn, and Bella Towns. Mrs. Towns was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Paul and Hallie Yarborough Paul and her husband, James Wayne “Jim” Towns.
