EVELYN JEANETTE McMULLEN GODFREY

Evelyn Jeanette McMullen of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at Big Bend Hospice Dozier House in Tallahassee, FL. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Mark Payne officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service. Due to the ongoing restrictions of COVID-19, masks are required and social distancing will be practiced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Donalsonville. Mrs. Godfrey was born in Miller County, GA on July 13, 1931 to Denver Rabon McMullen and Annie Mae Moss McMullen. She was a retired insurance agent, having owned her own agency for many years in Donalsonville. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Donalsonville. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Jeff Godfrey, Ferrell Godfrey, and Todd Godfrey. Mrs. Godfrey was preceded in death by her parents, Denver Rabon McMullen and Annie Mae Moss McMullen and her husband, A.J. Godfrey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
