Felix Rudolph Reese

Felix Rudolph Reese, age 90, of Jakin, GA passed away Sunday morning, October 31, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Jakin Baptist Church with Rev. Buford Lipscomb officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Jakin Cemetery with Randy Reese, Tracy Reese, Jerry Coble, Jerry Pearce, Jeff Croom and Jay Tillman serving as pallbearers. Mr. Reese was born in Early County, GA on December 10, 1930, to Earnest Wynn Reese and Willie Harrell Reese. He served his country in the United States Air Force and worked as a farmer and with the United Postal Service. Mr. Reese was also a member of Jakin Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 71 years, Betty Jean Croom Reese of Jakin, GA; his son, Phillip Reese and his wife Margaret of Cumming, GA; his daughter, Shirley Jones and her husband Jeff of Panama City Beach, FL; his brother, Ronnie Reese and his wife Robina of Powder Springs, GA; his grandchildren, Katie Caldwell, Joey Reese, and Aaron Jones and his wife Lynnsey; his great grandson, Oliver Jones; and his honorary grandson, Jerry Pearce. Mr. Reese is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Reese was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Wynn Reese and Willie Harrell Reese; his sisters, Willie Zell Helms and Clementine Hayes, and a daughter, Helen Kay Reese; and his brothers, Earnest Deloach Reese and Roscoe Reese.
