GEORGIANNE WALDEN HAWKINS

Georgianne Walden Hawkins, age 82, of Donalsonville, GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, August 15, 2023.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hawkins will be held on Thursday morning, August 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. John Crisp, Rev. Glen Hancock, and Rev. Billy Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow at Friendship Memorial Gardens with Keith Bowen, Jeff Ivey, Tracy Scarborough, Greg Mims, Tymir Groomes, and Gabriel Wilson serving as active pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer 200 W. 10^th St. Donalsonville, GA 39845.  The family is gathering and receiving friends at Mrs. Hawkins' residence, 3514 Steam Mill Road Donalsonville, GA 39845.

Mrs. Hawkins was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 3, 1940, to George Russell and Arrie Chambers Walden.  She graduated from Seminole County High School and was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church.  Mrs. Hawkins had a love for music and shared her talents in the church choir and sharing solos.  She enjoyed reading and some of her most favorite of times were spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved deeply.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Ray Hawkins, Jay Hawkins, Mitch Hawkins and Candy, Mark Hawkins and Rhonda, and Robyn Kirkland and Todd all of Donalsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Kayla McMillan and Doug, Jessica Dodd and Jackson, Cody Hawkins, Amber Willis and Trevor, Duane Hawkins and Melissa, Bridget Enfinger and Blake, Sunni Parr and Shelby, Arrya Stinson and Jacob, and Kam Kirkland and Kellie; as well as her great-grandchildren, John McMillan, Esiley McMillan, Anniston Dodd, Harrison Dodd, Brooklyn Dodd, Marlie Hawkins, Ella Hawkins, Sophie Hawkins, Southern Grace Enfinger, Tinley Enfinger, SJ Parr, Scarlett Parr, and Kaysen Stinson.

Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her parents, George Russell and Arrie Chambers Walden; her husband, Robert Hawkins; and her sister, Mary Alice Davis.
