GLORIA KIRKLAND WELCH

Gloria Kirkland Welch, age 62, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. A memorial service will be held on Sunday May 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. Mrs. Welch was born in Anniston, AL on Feb. 13, 1959. She worked as a sales clerk for a number of years. Mrs. Welch enjoyed being with her family and coloring. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Delbert Welch of Donalsonville, GA; her children, Sheree Scott and husband Sam of Prattville, AL, John Waylon Culp of Michigan, and Cody Lee Mayo of Dothan, AL; her sisters, DeNese Eubank of Dothan, AL and Debra Gowan of Anniston, AL; her brother, Danny Kent of Valrico, FL; and her grandchildren, Samuel Scott, Kaylee Scott, and Judah Williams. She is also survived by her longtime caregiver, Lisa Hoskins. Mrs. Welch was preceded in death by her parents Nellie Florence Wilkins and Charles Eugene Kent; her brother, Neil Bishop; and her adoptive parents, Inez and Haywood Kirkland.
