Hilda Duvall

Mrs. Hilda Duvall, age 93, of Donalsonville, Ga passed away Thursday afternoon, March 18,2021 at Bainbridge Health and Rehab in Bainbridge, Ga. A memorial service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Ms. Duvall was born on December 7, 1927 in Reynoldsville, Ga to Roy and Gladys Sawyer. After graduating from high school she went on to Orlando, Florida where she went to college. Ms. Hilda was full of life and in her earlier years spent a lot of her time sewing and absolutely loved working in her flower beds and putting puzzles together. She also worked for the Internal Revenue Service and retired after 35 years. Her family was her pride and joy and each one held a special place in her heart. Ms. Hilda was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandsons, Jason Harvey (Nicole) and Sean Harvey (Latoya); her sisters, Saundra Rogers and Betty Harris, and her great grandchildren, Ashlynn Harvey, Chase Harvey, Alexis Harvey, Sean Lee Harvey, Madison Harvey, Katelyn Harvey, Layla Harvey, and Cassidy Harvey. Ms. Duvall is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys Norman Sawyer; her husband, Paul M. Duvall; her daughter, Paula Francis Harvey; and her brothers, Roy Sawyer, Jr., and Norman Sawyer.
