HOSIA LEE HALL, JR

Hosia Lee Hall, Jr., age 88, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Tuesday evening, October 28, 2025, at his residence.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with visitation to be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Military honors will be held at the funeral home as well.

Mr. Hall was born in Panacea, FL on May 3, 1937, to Hosia Lee Hall, Sr. and Maude Elizabeth Price Hall. He served his country in the United States Marines and worked until his retirement as a maintenance supervisor for Cargill Peanut Shelling Plant. Mr. Hall attended Trinity Crossroads Church and enjoyed fishing and bird hunting. He was a true family man, who loved his family and spending as much time as possible with them. Mr. Hall was one of those individuals who could fix anything, refusing to have someone come out and work on something for him unless he was just completely stumped by it, which didn’t happen often.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 66 years, Hazel Hall of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Tami Hall Chandler and husband Bill of Tallahassee, FL, Jeffery Dean Hall and wife Miranda of Aiken, SC, Timi Varnum and husband Leonard of Donalsonville, GA, and Tina Braswell of Tallahassee, FL; and his brother, Sessiom Hall of Fort Myers, FL. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Jeff Hall and wife Amanda, Davin Lee Hall and wife Andrea, Brody Joel Hall, Kayleigh Rain Glover, Melinda Varnum, Jessa Soliz and husband Jeremy, Jenna Lee Hamilton, and Kayla Chandler; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hosia Lee Hall, Sr. and Maude Elizabeth Price Hall; seven siblings; and one grandchild, Jennifer Varnum.
