JERRY ALAN PEARCE

Jerry Alan Pearce, age 65, of Jakin, GA passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, AL Graveside services for Mr. Pearce will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Jakin Cemetery with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will immediately follow with Vann Hornsby, Bill Hornsby, Jackie Williams, Randy King, Don Lane, and Kevin Lewis serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Creel, Ronnie Creel, Carey Cannon, David Womble, Shannon Phillips, Emerson Skipper, Kenneth McLendon, Sammy Reese, Jared Rogers, Grant Harrell, Brock Miller, Olin Spooner, Allen Todd, Caleb Temples and special friends, Rudolph and Betty Reese and Mattie Buggs. Visitation will be held from 2:30-3:00 PM at the cemetery. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, mask are asked to be worn and safe social distancing to be practiced. Mr. Pearce was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 2, 1955 to Jerry G. Pearce and Laura Lane Pearce. Mr. Pearce was a self-employed farmer. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Nena Pearce; his children, Jerry Pearce, Allison Pearce Rathel and her husband Chad, and Alana Pearce; his granddaughter, Callan Rathel; his brother, Todd Pearce; his sister, Susan Sims and her husband Alan; and an uncle, David Pearce. Mr. Pearce was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry G. Pearce and Laura Lane Pearce; and his brothers, Mike Pearce and Clark Pearce Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
