JOANN TEMPLES

Joann Temples, age 65, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday evening, August 17, 2023 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services for Ms. Temples will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Gary Walker and Rev. Mylan Brookins officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church.

 Ms. Temples was born in Donalsonville, GA on October 25, 1957, to Joe and Margie Ann Jones Temples.  She graduated from Seminole County High School and went on to college to study and become a nurse.  She recently retired from Donalsonville Hospital. Ms. Temples was a member of Oakview Church of God and enjoyed reading, traveling, and shopping.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Glenda Temples of Donalsonville, GA; her brother, Billy Joe Temples of Donalsonville, GA; and her sister-in-law, Jonnie Temples of Donalsonville, GA.  Joann is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Christy Temples of Tallahassee, FL, Jonathan Temples and Jamie of Tallahassee, FL, Jerry Temples and Robyn of Abbeville, AL, Johnny Temples and Lori of Bainbridge, GA, Charles Temples of Donalsonville, GA, and Hannah Temples of Bainbridge, GA; as well as her great-nieces and nephews, Ashlyn Temples of Fort Walton, FL, Bethany Temples of Donalsonville, GA, Landon Temples of Bainbridge, GA, Addison Temples of Bainbridge, GA, and Easton Temples of Abbeville, AL.  Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Ms. Temples was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Margie Ann Jones Temples; her brother, Jerry Douglas Temples; her grandmother, Sallie Mae Kirkland; and her great aunt, Lizzy Mae Smith.
