JOHN HENRY PICKREN

John Henry Pickren, age 78, of Colquitt, GA passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 at his residence. No services are being planned at this time. Mr. Pickren was born in Miller County, GA on May 5, 1941 to George Frank and Jesse Tidwell Pickren.  He was retired from Georgia-Pacific and was working in parts sales at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Donalsonville.  He was a member of New Salem Freewill Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Linda Pickren of Colquitt, GA; his daughter, Rebecca Grow and husband Jimbo of Colquitt, GA; his sons, Mike Colgan and wife Christy of Colquitt, GA, Carlus Pickren and wife Katie of Colquitt, GA, and John Pickren and wife Katie of Texas; his sister-in-law, Nina Pickren of Donalsonville, GA; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Pickren was preceded in death by his parents, George Frank and Jesse Tidwell Pickren; one brother, Cody Pickren; and one son, Ronnie Colgan.
