JOHN DAVID PRICKETT

John David Prickett, age 64, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away on June 14, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Hospital following a lengthy illness. A celebration of his life is being planned for a later date. 

Mr. Prickett was born December 6, 1959 in Thomasville, GA to John William and Bente’ Prickett. After working most of his life as an industrial electrician he found his calling when he started managing the family business, JW’s Grocery, at Lake Seminole. His most treasured pastimes were cooking for and eating with his family and listening to music.

Mr. Prickett is survived by his children, Eric Prickett and Crystal Prickett of Donalsonville, grandson Brady Anderson of Iron City, brother Steve Prickett and wife Debbie of Gordon, AL, cousin Louise Temples and husband Bruce of Lake Seminole, nieces Stephanie Griner and husband Cecil, April Prickett, Bente’ Makayla Rain Prickett, nephews Bradley Prickett and wife Heather, Brandon Prickett, Camden Prickett, Christian Prickett, several great nieces and nephews, and special friend Jonathan Barnett. 

Mr. Prickett is preceded in death by his parents, John William and Bente’ Lis Londal Sorenson Prickett, and brother Henrik Prickett.
