Joshua Gross

Joshua Lynn Gross, age 45, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Sunday morning, March 1, 2026, at the Donalsonville Hospital ER.

Funeral services for Mr. Gross will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Horne and Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Doug Smith, Ronnie Smith, Kurt Vickers, Tony Greene, Lee Powell, and Jesse Powell serving as active pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Hank Ready, Bruce Ready, Zach Powell, Hayden Scott, Mark Whittaker, Chris Whittaker, Jonathan Nichols, and Waylon Cross. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Gross was born in Albany, GA on December 17, 1980, to Everett Benjamin “Sonny” Gross and Debra Lynn Smith Gross. He was the estate manager for Cook Redlands in Colquitt, GA. He loved working on cars and teaching kids how to do things. He was an animal lover and would help anyone in need.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Turner Gross; his parents, Sonny and Debra Gross; his fiancé, Melissa Ready; his brother, Casey Gross and his wife Amanda; his sister, Sunny Marie Adams and her husband James; his nieces and nephews, Cason Gross, Caddee Gross, Rayna Gross and Brooklyn Strickland; his step-son, J.J.; and his grandmother, Catherine Pharis.

Mr. Gross was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Marie Smith and Joyce and David Johnson.
