JUDY RUTH SEYMOUR PYE

Judy Ruth Pye, 73, of Gordon, Alabama passed away at her residence on May 7, 2020. Judy was born in Port Author, Texas on November 20, 1946. Judy lived most of life in Gordon, Alabama on the house and land that she loved. She loved always seeing her children and grandchildren and having family gatherings. Judy always enjoyed reading the bible and had the greatest heart about always giving to others. She really enjoyed playing with her dog “Maggie.” Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Albin Robert Seymour and Rebecca Wilkins Tompkins, a husband, Lloyd Pye Jr., a brother, John Seymour, a sister, Betty Ann Seymour Sanders, and a special granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Toliver. Judy is survived by her brothers, Albin Edgar “Huck” Seymour and Charles “Butch” Robert Seymour, a nephew, Paul Mazzotta. She has four precious daughters Shirley Talliaferro Singleton of Troy, Alabama, Tammy Talliaferro Bishop of Damascus, Georgia, Sheila West of Colquitt, Georgia, and Debi Renee Clinton of Colquitt, Georgia as well as a granddaughter that was always there for her, Jessica Talliaferro Cauble of Donalsonville, Georgia. Judy also has two special sons, William “Billy” Frank Toliver III of Bainbridge, Georgia and Robert Edgar Talliaferro of Dothan, Alabama. She has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
