Kathy Scharlene Stapleton, age 67, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 14, 2020 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Stapleton will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Brain Hatchett officiating. Interment will Seminole Shores Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Stapleton was born in Swainsboro, GA on June 19, 1953 to Clarence Stapleton and Louise Hall Stapleton. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jessica McCalip (Demetris), John Stapleton, Donnie Stapleton (Aiko), Michael Henry (Michelle), and Tim Riner (Tammie); her grandchildren, Josh Stapleton and Rochelle Stapleton; her great grandson Gabriel Stapleton; and her brother, Irvin Stapleton. Mrs. Stapleton was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Stapleton and Louise Hall Stapleton; her husband, Donnie Stapleton; her son, William Stapleton; her brother, Clarence Stapleton, Jr., and her sisters, Gearldine Riner and Barbara Ann Hood.
