Mrs. Laverne Love Ingram, age 88, of Colquitt, GA passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 20, 2021 at Miller County Hospital ER. Graveside services for Mrs. Ingram will be held on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Love and Rev. Jean Watson officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service with John Lewis, Brantley Lewis, Ruger Lewis, Ferris Brookshire, Felix Butler, Sr., Felix Butler, Jr., Shawn Lewis, and Haven Butler serving as active pallbearers. Due to the ongoing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are asked to be worn and social distancing to be practiced. Mrs. Ingram was born in Blakely, GA on July 25, 1932 to Stewart Love and Charlotte Cloud Love. She was a homemaker and attended Cooks Union United Methodist Church. Mrs. Ingram loved spending time with her family, and she always enjoyed a good shopping trip. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Dewey Ingram and wife Patty of Michigan, Randy Ingram and wife Rita of Portugal, Craig Ingram and wife Belinda of Colquitt, GA, Melissa Tennyson and husband Frank of Dallas, GA, and Joyce Glass and husband James of Colquitt, GA; a brother, Robert Love of Blakely, GA and a sister, Faye Moore of Marianna, FL. Eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her parents, Stewart and Charlotte Cloud Love; her husband, Felix Ingram; two brothers, George Love and James Love; and three sisters, Reba Keigans, Mamie McCormick, and Linda Burtz. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
