LORETTA ROSE

Loretta Tyson Rose, age 82 of Gordon, AL passed away on December 15, 2022 at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The family will hold a private service. Mrs. Rose was born in Early County, GA on January 21, 1940 to Payton Tyson and Lillie Brownlee Tyson. She was of the Baptist faith and she was a farmer. Mrs. Rose cherished and loved spending time with her great grandson, Xander. Shortly after he was born is when she decided to moved to Gordon to be close to him and Cameron. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Daniel Rose of Gordon, AL; her sister, Laura “Sister” McCord of Gordon, AL; her step-children, Pam Able, Mary Cole, Gary Rose, and Clint Rose; her granddaughter, April Pate; grandson, Eric Sumlar; special granddaughter, Cameron Sumlar and her favorite of all, her great grandson, Xander Sumlar. She is also survived by 12 additional grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; and her children, Faye Samson, Robin “Robbie” Smith, Kathy Gasquet and Billy Adams
