Louie Grady Jarvis, Sr.

Louie Grady Jarvis, Sr., age 88, of Donalsonville, GA passed away on July 24, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Jarvis will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Cory Soloman officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lynn Family Cemetery (Hammock Springs Baptist Church) with Don Jarvis, Raymond Holt, Trace Stovall, Larry Fennell, Todd Hatcher, and Colby Hunter serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Jarvis was born on November 5, 1936 in Seminole County, GA to Charles William Jarvis and Oza Lynn Jarvis. He retired from the City of Donalsonville and was Donalsonville’s first paid firefighter. He also truly enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Jarvis is survived by his wife, Juree Gibson Jarvis, his children, Grady Jarvis (Jodie), Debbie Cowart, David Jarvis (Cindy), Martha Barnett (Mike) and Jody Jarvis (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Megan Powell, Mallory Doster, Jay Cowart, Jennifer Cowart, Britt Floyd, Maddox Jarvis, Jacob Jarvis, Jonathan Jarvis and Lisa-Marie Barnett. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Brantley Holley, Willow Cowart, Kinsleigh Floyd, Harper Doster, Sutton Doster and Pete Doster.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers.
