LOUIS BONNER

Louis Bonner, age 91, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2 26, at Donalsonville Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Bonner will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Friendship Methodist Church with Tim Bell and Brad Bonner officiating.  Services will conclude at the church before a private burial at Friendship Memorial Gardens, with members of the Walker-Webb Sunday School Class serving as honorary pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church.

Mr. Bonner was born in Five Points, AL, on Nov. 28, 1934, to Earl Stevenson Bonner and Peggy Louise Terry Bonner.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of the University of Mississippi.  Mr. Bonner earned a Masters Degree in Education. Having retired from sawmill work in his earlier years, he went on to retire from the Seminole County School System, after having served children in education in his roles as a teacher, coach, bus driver, principal, and for a short time as interim superintendent. For quiet sometime, he was a devoted and valued addition to the staff of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home, where we loving referred to him as "Chief".  Mr. Bonner was a faithful member of Friendship Methodist Church for over 60 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Monroe Bonner (Denise) and grandson Brad Bonner (April), as well as three very special        great-grandchildren, Cadance, Gabby, and London.  Also surviving are numerous nephews and nieces, as well as a special dog friend, Jack.

Mr. Bonner was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Louise Bonner; his wife of over 50 years, Gladys Bonner; and nine siblings.

In closing, we would like to leave you with his favorite remark to share with others, "It's a great day to be a Rebel!".
