LUJANE PIPPINS BRACKIN

Mary Lujane Pippins Brackin, age 72, of Brinson, GA, passed away Sunday evening, July 27, 2025, at her residence.

Graveside services for Mrs. Brackin will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lyle Brackin and Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service.

Mrs. Brackin was born in Bainbridge, GA on October 4, 1952, to Dellwood Pippins and Opal Lee Clinton Pippins. She worked with Amoco Fabrics as a textile machine operator for 32 years before retiring. Mrs. Brackin loved spending time mowing grass and working in her flowerbeds. Her family was very important to her and she loved anytime that she could spend with them. She always put her family and others before herself. Mrs. Brackin was a member of New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 42 years, Tim Brackin of Brinson, GA; her children, Melissa Fiveash and Jared of Brinson, GA and Donnie Spooner of Brinson, GA; her son-in-law, Brandon Whittaker of Bainbridge, GA; as well as seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Beverly Castanon and Jesse of Bainbridge, GA and Barbara Adams and Paul Jr. of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Ralph Randall Pippins of Bainbridge, Ga and Dell Pippins, Jr. and Mary Lou of Bainbridge, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brackin was preceded in death by her parents, Dellwood Pippins and Opal Lee Clinton Pippins Larson; two brothers, Charles Pippins and Johnny Wayne Pippins; and her daughter, Priscilla Whittaker.
