Lunette (“Lela”) Love, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at The Terrace of
Kissimmee in Kissimmee, Florida.
Funeral services for Mrs. Love will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the chapel
of Evans Skipper Funeral Home of Donalsonville, Georgia with Rev. Jimmy Love and Pastor
Billy Garrett co-officiating. Interment will be held at Liberty Assembly of God Church
Cemetery in Cedar Springs, Georgia. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral
home.
Mrs. Love was born on August 25, 1938, to Pue and Chloe (“Josee”) Brackin in Donalsonville,
Georgia. Mrs. Love was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She was an active
member of the Liberty Assembly of God Church in Cedar Springs, Georgia until December 2020
when she moved to Florida.
Mrs. Love enjoyed sewing, reading mystery novels, watching television mystery shows, and
fishing. She loved spending time with family, friends, and most of all, she loved going to church
and worshiping her Lord.
Due to deteriorating health, Mrs. Love was forced to leave her home state of Georgia and move
to Florida where she lived for three years with her family.
Mrs. Love is survived by three siblings: Tom Brackin (Sonja), Peggy Dunning, and James
Brackin (Sam); her four children: Dennis Love (Lynette), James Love, Ricky Love (Peggy) and
Regenia Kitting (Rick). Mrs. Love was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren,
and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Love Jr., her parents, Pue Brackin and
Chloe (“Josee”) Brackin, three brothers, Raymond Brackin, Charlie Brackin and Lester Brackin,
and two sisters, Inez Glass and Lillie Evans.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in the name of Mrs. Love to the
Lewy Body Dementia Association (lbda.org/donate).
