MARJORIE JEANNE MOORE OWENS

Mrs. Marjorie Moore Owens, age 82, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Owens will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Elmore and Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Assembly of God Cemetery with members of the Christian Motorcycle Association serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Owens was born in Cordele, GA on April 3, 1938 to Robert Hueett Moore and Pauline Gordon Moore. She was a homemaker and member of New Life Church of God. Mrs. Owens loved God and going to church, loved people, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Richard Christopher, Anthony Christopher, Marie Griffin (Dale), David Wrenn, and Lee Owens (Bonnie); two brothers, Jerry Moore (JoAnn) and James E. Moore (Glynnis); as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hueett Moore and Pauline Gordon Moore; her husband, Wilbur Lee Owens; her children, Timmy Owens, Terry Owens, Elizabeth Barber, and Tommy Owens; her grandson, Josh Owens; and two brothers, Jimmy Moore and Robert C. Moore.
