MARTHA GEARLDINE STAPLETON RINER

Martha Gearldine Riner, age 69, of Donalsonville, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Select Medical Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services for Mrs. Riner will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating.  Interment will follow in Seminole Shores Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Riner was born in Swainsboro, GA on February 11, 1949 to Clarence Stapleton and Louise Hall Stapleton. She was a teacher and a member of Lake Seminole Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Michael Henry and his wife Michelle of Donalsoville, GA, Tim Riner of Soperton, GA, John Stapleton of Donalsonville, GA, and Jessica McCalip and Demetris of Donalsonville, GA; her sister, Scharlene Stapleton of Donalsonville, GA; and her brother, Ervin Stapleton of Swainsboro, GA. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Riner was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Stapleton and Louise Hall Stapleton; and her husband; James Riner. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
