MARY ALICE JENKINS SMITH

Mary Alice Jenkins Smith, age 89, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday evening, Feb. 3, 2021 at Westside Terrace in Dothan, AL. Graveside services for Mrs. Smith will be held on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Roberts officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are asked to be worn and safe social distancing to be practiced. Mrs. Smith was born in Dothan, AL on April 9, 1931 to Willie B. Jenkins and Lula Mae Grantham Jenkins. She was a homemaker and enjoyed picking up pecans and spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Tim Smith and his wife Joan; her grandchildren, Jonathan Smith (Jessica), Daniel Smith (Jennifer), Robert "Bobby" Smith, and Elizabeth Driskel; her great grandchildren, Ariel, Owen, Elias, Jace, and Joshua; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. and Lula Mae Grantham Jenkins; her husband, William "Pete" Smith; her son, Randall Keith Smith; her daughter-in-law, Kay Smith; her brother, Jerry Jenkins; and her sisters, Faye Knight and Sylvia Carter.
