MARY HELEN MCMULLEN GRAY

Mary Helen McMullen Gray, age 72, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday afternoon, August 3, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. A memorial service at Lake Seminole Baptist Church will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Johnny Roberts and Rusty Bradley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Seminole Baptist Church Building Fund or Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Mrs. Gray was born April 23, 1948 in Donalsonville, GA to Joe Brown McMullen and Lucile Jones McMullen. She was a registered nurse and member of Lake Seminole Baptist Church where she also served as church secretary. Mrs. Gray was a member of the Red Hat Society as well. She is survived by her sister, Margie Murray and her husband Bill of Jakin, GA; her brother-in-law, Marshall Williams of Donalsonville, GA; her sister-in-law, June Peel Gray of Tallahassee, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Brown McMullen and Lucile Jones McMullen; her husband, Samuel Gray, Jr.; her brother, John Bryant McMullen; and her sister, Delma Williams.
