Mathilde Odom

Mathilde H. Odom, age 93, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Odom was born in Germany on June 2, 1928 to Jacob Hendel and Anna Hendel. Mrs. Odom was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Jonnie Temples of Donalsonville, GA and Sarah Hemphill of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Jerry Temples, Jr., Johnnie Temples, Charles Temples, and Trevor Hemphill. She is also survived by five great grandchildren. Mrs. Odom was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Odom, Sr.; and her son, Roy Odom, Jr. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
