Melisa Barfield Weatherford

Rosia Melisa Barfield Weatherford, age 53, of Bainbridge, GA and formerly of Donalsonville, passed away Monday evening, January 15, 2024, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital.

The family will hold a private memorial service.

Ms. Weatherford was born in Calhoun County, FL on May 1, 1970, to Robert Eugene Barfield and Jewel Ruby Harris Barfield.  She was a 1988 graduate of Seminole County High School and was of the Baptist Faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her brothers, Freddie Morris of Jacksonville, FL and James Banks of Iron City, GA; her sisters, Juanita Sharber of Bainbridge, GA and Judy Cobb (Kenny Davis) of Iron City, GA; her stepdad, Delma Mosley of Donalsonville, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is her precious fur baby, “Little Bit”.

Ms. Weatherford was preceded in death by her parents.
