MICHAEL HARRIS

Michael “Mike” Lavon Harris, age 47, of Colquitt, GA passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. Funeral services for Mr. Harris will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Stephen Harris, Dewayne Harris, Joseph Franklin, Josh Seago, Josh Edwards, and Bill Stuart serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Harris was born in Albany, GA on December 24, 1972 to Charles Lavon Harris and Gloria Harris. He was a homemaker and loved his babies and spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, listening to heavy metal music, and was a fan of clowns. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Katie Franklin Harris; his mother, Gloria Anderson and husband Son; his father, Charles Harris; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Franklin and Joseph; his children, Stephen Harris and wife Cindy, Cheyanne Harris, and Christian Harris; his brothers, Stephen Harris and Dewayne Harris and wife Cindy; his sister, Angie Harris; and his beloved pet, Oscar Harris. Mike is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
