NELL HELMS-LYNN AGUILAR

Nell Helms Lynn Aguilar, age 74, of Jakin, GA passed away Monday evening, December 24, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Aguilar will be held on Friday afternoon, December 28, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Zeth Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at Springfield Baptist Church. Mrs. Aguilar was born in Donalsonville, GA to Crawford and Trudie Dickens Helms on November 11, 1944.  She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and a homemaker.   She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Carlos Aguilar of Jakin, GA; her daughter, Lorrie Rusgrove and husband Lewis of Watkinsville, GA; her grandson, Lance Rusgrove and wife Sara of Colorado Springs, CO; and her granddaughter, Lydia Moss and husband Stephen of Lexington, GA. Mrs. Aguilar was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Trudie Dickens Helms; the father of her children, Emory Lynn; her brothers, Talmadge Helms and Alfred Helms; and her sisters, Lillian Thornton, Anna Merle Parker, and Norma Deal. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
