Norita Varkalis

Mrs. Norita Varkalis, age 81, of Donalsonville, Georgia, passed away on August 9, 2026 at Donalsonville Hospital. No services are being held at this time.

Mrs. Varkalis was born on September 29, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to William and Marie Smith. She was a loving and devoted wife to her wonderful husband Martin. Norita lived her life by faith and trusted her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with every ounce of her being. She loved studying Gods word and believed in prayer.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Martin Varkalis; her sister, Kay Maxwell; and her nephews, Pat Maxwell, Terry Maxwell, and Donnie Maxwell.

Mrs. Varkalis is preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Smith.
