OLGA MARANSKY GETTLE

Olga Maransky Gettle, 98, of Dothan, AL passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the Wesley Place on Honeysuckle in Dothan, AL. Mrs. Gettle was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 9, 1920 to John and Vida Prodonov Maransky. She was a department supervisor for the Army/Air Force Exchange and a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gettle is survived by her son, Michael James Gettle and his wife Cathy of Grandville, MI; her granddaughter, Jennifer LaVigne and her husband Nick; and her great granddaughters, Claire Anne LaVigne and Emma Joy LaVigne. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vida Prodonov Maransky; her husband, Jesse Richard Gettle; her brothers, Michael Maransky, Joseph Maransky, and William Maransky; her sisters, Katherine Uhrich, and Mitzie Maransky; and her grandson, Jon Gettle. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Wesley Place, Martin Center % 718 Honeysuckle Road, Dothan, AL 36305 Arrangements entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
