Ottie Mae Cross

Mrs. Ottie Mae Weaver Cross, age 90, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at her residence. Graveside services will be held on January 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rollin Rathel officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Mahammad Mohseni, PhD, Ben Cross, Dawson Cross, Chet Simmons, Nathan Wiley and Patrick Williamson. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are asked to be worn and safe social distancing to be practiced. Mrs. Cross was born on March 2, 1931, in Miller County, Georgia to Smiley Weaver and Emma Josephine Miller Weaver. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to church and reading her bible. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Gail Hinz of Donalsonville, GA, Diane Mohseni, PhD, and her husband Mahammad, PhD of Charleston, SC, Billy “Buddy” Cross of Donalsonville, GA, and Kenneth Cross of Donalsonville, GA; her sister, Nellie Weaver Williams of Colquitt, GA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by her parents, Smiley Weaver and Emma Josephine Miller Weaver; her husband, Ralph Cross; her borthers, Ellie Weaver and Edgar Weaver.
