Patricia Anne Ingram Arnold was born in Iron City, Georgia on June 7th, 1943, to the late Floys Sinquefield Ingram and James Robert Ingram. She was the third of eight children and the first-born daughter, the apple of her father’s eye. Patricia passed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 82, surrounded by her loved ones.
Patricia was a beautiful soul and a dear friend. She was a woman of immense faith, independence and in her unique way, she was a fighter. She lived life on her own terms, which was often challenging for those around her, but also made her unforgettable.
A true Southern belle, she was proper, proud, and devout, with a sassy streak and always down to dance to Bruno Mars (but definitely not Cardi B). Patricia was a sharp dresser with a keen eye for art and design, fond of reading and dark chocolate. She enjoyed working in her rose garden, her daily six-mile walks, biking, and practicing Yoga. She was a staunch health buff, always up on the latest trends.
She was a Vice President of First Federal Mid-Florida Savings and Loan, when banking was a male dominated industry. Her retirement years were spent caring for loved ones and fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Patricia is preceded in death by her father James Robert Ingram, her mother Floys Sinquefield Ingram, her brother Jerry Maxwell Ingram, her husband Jim Thorne Arnold, and her brother Eulys Albert Ingram.
She leaves behind brothers Raydell Ingram (Lyn), Ronnie Ingram (Brenda), Alan Ingram (Sue), Wade Ingram (Cindy) and sister Louise Royal; two daughters, Dianna Nix and Wendy Nix-Morris (Matthew); and two grandchildren, Olivia Williamson and Griffin Morris, who will all cherish her memory forever.
There will be a celebration of life for Patricia and her brother Eulys on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Iron City United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church.
