RICKY DALE SMITH

Ricky Dale Smith, age 66, of Iron City, GA passed away Wednesday evening, April 13, 2022. Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Thomas and Wilton Albritton officiating. Burial will follow Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Matthew Shingler, Ronnie Shingler, Sid Shingler, Ryan Shingler, Wilton Albritton and Carlous Chandler serving as casketbearers. Honorary casketbearers will be the members of the Miller County Vol. Fire Dept. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting a 1:00 PM at Flat Creek Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Flat Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Smith was born in Donalsonville, GA on September 7, 1955 to Richard Russell Smith and Lillian McCalvin Smith. Mr. Smith was a farmer and a member of the Miller County Vol. Fire Dept., Seminole County Young Farmers, and Flat Creek Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Karen Thompson Smith of Iron City, GA; his sons, Nicholas Smith (Kyla) of Donalsonville, GA, Kyle Smith (Jessica) of Donalsonville, GA, and Dusty Smith (Windi) of Donalsonville, GA; his sister, Shirley Alday of Donalsonville, GA; his grandchildren; Sutton Smith, Summer Smith, Brooke Smith, Malyn Smith, Preston Smith, Julia Smith, Jacob Smith, Josh Roberson, Brianna Roberson. He is also survived by his nephews, Mitch Alday, Mikey Alday, Jason Houston, and Israel Houston. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Smith and Lillian Smith; and his brothers-in-law; Sambo Alday and Greg Houston Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
