Robert Easom

Robert L. Easom, age 89, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at his residence. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Primitive Union Baptist Cemetery in Colquitt, GA with Rick Easom officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, mask are asked to be worn and safe social distancing to be practiced. Mr. Easom was born in Jakin, GA on October 12, 1931 to Linton Allen Easom and Cora Lee Crooms. Mr. Easom retired from Civil Service in 1994 and was a member of Wright Baptist Church. He was also a Mason, York Rite, Shriner, a baseball umpire for youth athletics and the lead of a country bluegrass band for fifty years. He is survived by his sons, Rick L. Easom (Sheri) of Laurel Hill, FL, Greg R. Easom (Kathy) of Donalsonville, GA; his grandchildren, Rob S. Easom of Fayetteville, NC, Lora E. Wright (Adam) of Laurel Hill, FL, Tracy L. Hanson (Bobby) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Zach R. Easom of Tallahassee, FL. Mr. Easom was preceded in death by his parents, Linton and Cora Easom; his wife of 61 years, Mable Bush Easom; and his brothers, Collie Easom, Leonard Easom, Edd Easom, and George Arthur Easom Arrangements entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
