ROBERT LYNWOOD HINES, JR.

Robert (Bob) Lynwood Hines, Jr., age 66, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Piedmont Henry in Stockbridge, GA.

A memorial service will be held on January 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Mock officiating.

Bob was born in Bainbridge, GA on Feb. 9, 1959, to Robert (Bobby) Lynwood Hines, Sr. and Joyce Harrell Hines. He was a 1977 graduate of Seminole County High School, where he played football and was on the golf team. Bob loved FSU football, cooking, and watching sports. He worked as a warehouse employee for the Home Depot Distribution Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Yon Beng, his daughter, Miranda Roberts and grandson, Hines Roberts; his sister, Peggy Colman and husband Rick; his brother, Ted Hines and wife Nicole; his stepfather, John D. Miller; his nieces, Christy Bryant and Emma Hines; and nephews, Jerrid Colman and wife Macy and Thomas Hines. Also surviving are his stepchildren, Michelle Slaughter and husband Douglas, Willie Ros Men, and Randy Men; his step-grandchildren, Allee-Rose Socheata Slaughter and Wesley Men; as well as his mother-in-law, Yan Beng.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Bobby) Lynwood Hines, Sr. and Joyce Miller.
