RAYMOND GLEN MCDONALD

Raymond Glen McDonald, age 64, of Iron City, GA passed away Sunday evening, March 5, 2023 at Donalsonville Hospital.

A graveside memorial service is planned for Monday, March 13, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. McDonald was born in Seminole Co., GA on Dec. 15, 1958, to Charles William and Gladys Hile McDonald.  He worked with Durden Knife and Saw until his retirement.  Mr. McDonald was of the Baptist faith. He loved music, especially music from the 50s and 60s and Country music. If he had a favorite pastime, it would have to be cooking; he was an excellent cook.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jennifer McDonald Gaarder of Donalsonville, GA, Matthew McDonald (April) of Iron City, GA, and Curtis McDonald (Jennifer) of Blakely, GA; his brother, James Michael McDonald (Debra) of Pelham, GA; his fiancé, Jan Leonard of Iron City, GA; his grandchildren, Sydney Brewer (Joseph), Alexis Gaarder, Christian McDonald, and Phoenix Cast; and his great grandchildren, Joceyln Paige Rose Brewer and Skyler Daniel Brewer.

Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William and Gladys Hile McDonald; his wife, Pamela McDonald; and his son, Rodger Collingwood.
