Robert "Robbie" Luther Odom

Robert “Robbie” Luther Odom, age 48, of Donalsonville, GA passed away suddenly on July 19, 2023.

Robbie was born on October 6, 1974, to Johnny Odom and Linda Odom Hatton in Donalsonville, GA.  After he graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1993, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and security fencing installer. Anyone who knew Robbie knew his love for hunting, fishing, and any outdoor activity.   

He was preceded by his grandfathers, Luther Odom, Tullie Curtis Earnest, Canies Smith, and his grandmother, Thelma Smith.

He is survived by his son, Hunter Odom (Mariah) of Shreveport, LA; his wife, Neva Odom of Bainbridge, GA; his mother, Linda Hatton (Glenn) of Bainbridge, GA; his father, Johnny Odom (Donna) of Pelham, GA; his sister, Trina Davis (Kevin) of Jakin, GA; and his grandmother, Sophie Odom Earnest of Donalsonville, GA.  Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Salem Seminole Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2023, with the service to follow at 2:00 PM.  Rev. David Roland will be the speaker.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Salem Seminole Baptist Church in memory of Robbie.  Those donations may be mailed to Salem Seminole Baptist Church c/o Susie Croom 6584 Hwy 374 Donalsonville, GA 39845.
