ROBERT SAMUEL WILLIAMS

Robert Samuel Williams, age 79, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday afternoon, April 21,  2023 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

Graveside services for Mr. Williams will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, Ga with Rev. Glenn Elmore officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Mr. Williams’ memory to the Georgia Sheriffs Boys Ranch, 5671 Boys Ranch Road, Hahira, GA 31632.

Mr. Williams was born in Moultrie, GA on April 3, 1944, to Robert Milton and Ruby Mae Smith Williams.  He worked for many years on the Road Crew with the Georgia Department of Transportation.  Mr. Williams loved flowers and wood working, and he was a true “Mr. Fix-it”.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Ruby Griffin, Beth Williams (Chuck), Walter Landin (Julie), Wayne Landin, Cliff Landin (Cindy), Craig Landin (Sue), and Gloria Idiaan (Assou).; his brother, J.L. Williams(Glenda); his sisters, Brenda Johnson (Stan) and Kathy York; and his sisters-in-law, Redbug Williams and Ethel Williams Waldrop. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Milton and Ruby Mae Smith Williams; his wife, Corinne Williams; his brothers, Aldwin Williams, Hilton Williams, and Tommy Williams; his sister, Elizabeth Barlow; and his son, Glenn Landin.
