SANDRA ANNE RIDLEHOOVER AUSLEY

Sandra Anne Ridlehoover Ausley, age 78, of Iron City, GA passed away Wednesday evening,

 July 5, 2023, at Miller County Hospital.

Graveside services for Mrs. Ausley will be held on Sunday afternoon, July 9, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Active pallbearers will be Jody Ridlehoover, Bert Adams, Jeffery Haire, Stacy Miller, Trent Batchelor, and Rob Weir.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Ethan Ausley Benefit Fund at First State Bank in Donalsonville or Bainbridge or to Seminole County Warpath on Cancer, 200 W. 10th Street, Donalsonville, GA 39845, in honor of her grandson, Ethan Ausley, who is presently courageously fighting his own battle with cancer.  

Mrs. Ausley was born in Donalsonville, GA, on June 3, 1945, to Herbert and Susie Virginia Atkinson Ridlehoover.  She was a bookkeeper/office assistant at Seminole Peanut, retiring after 25 years.  Mrs. Ausley was a member of Iron City Baptist Church and loved her family to the fullest.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.  If the grandchildren were showing livestock, you would find her right there!

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Bob Ausley and wife Renee of Iron City, GA; her grandchildren, Parker Ausley, Elizabeth Ausley, and Ethan Ausley; her sister, Linda Adams of Donalsonville, GA; sisters-in-law, Lucia Ann Ridlehoover of Donalsonville, GA, Katherine Hornsby of Iron City, GA, and Juliette Hartley of Dothan, AL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ausley was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Susie Virginia Atkinson Ridlehoover; her husband, Bobby Hayes Ausley; her brother, Joe Ridlehoover; and three brothers-in-law, Ted Hartley, Billy Adams, and Butch Hornsby.
