Shannon Hope Stewart

Shannon Hope Stewart, age 52, of Jakin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday morning May 10, 2025, at Donalsonville Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

No services are being planned at this time.

Shannon was born in Dawson, GA on August 25, 1972, to Emory and LaDonna Allen Snider.  After graduating from high school, Shannon enrolled in some college courses and became a CNA, working at Seminole Manor Nursing Home until taking an early retirement due to her health. She loved being around the water and being involved in water activities, especially swimming.  Shannon was of the Church of God faith and was very spiritual.  She loved to sing, however, her greatest love was her family and enjoyed anytime there was a family gathering.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Luann Nunnery and husband Hewett of Jakin, GA; her brother, Rob Snider and wife Haley R. Snider of Iron City, GA; as well as her loving nieces and nephews, Mac Nunnery, Kelsey Nunnery, Hannah Snider, Carson Snider, Brynlee McMickle, and Brody McMickle.  Also surviving is her life long friend, Melanie Carter of Benton, KY.

Shannon was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and LaDonna Snider and her maternal grandmother, Irene Allen.
