SHIRLEY JOYCE HOOKS

Shirley Joyce Hooks, age 94, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday morning, July 18, 2026, at her residence.

No public services are being planned at this time.

Mrs. Hooks was born in West Point, Nebraska, on September 20, 1931.  She was a high school graduate and homemaker. Shirley was one of those people who loved life and everyone loved her. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her adopted family, Kenneth Chambless, Shaun Chambless and his wife Ashley, Arin Chambless, Tyler and Alice Chambless, and Carson Chambless.

Mrs. Hooks was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Hooks; her brother; and her dear friend, Diana Chambless.
