SHIRLEY WILSON MOULTON

Shirley Moulton, age 79, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family after a recent battle with cancer.

Funeral services for Ms. Moulton will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Oakview Church of God with Rev. John Nunes and Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. A private family graveside service will be held after the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church.

Born in 1946, Shirley spent her life nurturing the ones she loved. She found her greatest happiness in the simple pleasures of life: shopping trips when she was able, long afternoons surrounded by family, and laughing along with her nephews as they shared their favorite jokes. Her laughter and warmth filled every room she entered. Known for her kind heart and quiet strength, Shirley brought joy to everyone who knew her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Angela Stewart and husband Spencer and Denise Morris, who were her pride and joy, and by her cherished grandchildren, Logan, whose brilliance with computers made her beam with pride, and AnnaLane, a high school sophomore, whose light brightened Shirley’s every day. Shirley spent her final years living with Angela, her husband Spencer – whom she loved like a son – and AnnaLane, who brought comfort and companionship to her grandmother’s days. Shirley often said that Spencer’s unwavering kindness and care meant the world to her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Ossie Wilson and her brothers Wildon Wilson and Vann Wilson.

Her life was marked by quiet grace and deep love. She will be remembered for her big heart, her gentle spirit, and the way she made everyone feel like family.
