SHIRLEY SAPP WILKINSON

Shirley Catherine Wilkinson, age 89, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to Kindred Hospice 432 E. Shotwell St. Bainbridge, GA 39817 or to the Alzheimer's Association PO Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011. Due to the ongoing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required and social distancing will be practiced. Mrs. Wilkinson was born in Palm Harbor, FL on October 13, 1931 to John Jefferson and Edith Ila Chauncy Sapp. She was a homemaker and member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 68 years, William Wesley Wilkinson; her children, Robert William Wilkinson and Patsy, Edward Michael Wilkinson and Naomi, Teresa Ann DiNapoli and Daniel; her grandchildren, John Rutledge, Michael Wilkinson and Amy, Lucas Wilkinson, Leah Woodell and Dustin, Montina DiNapoli, and Dalton Wilkinson; and her great grandchildren, Jake and Evan Wilkinson, Clint and Camryn Woodell, Jacob Hulsey, Issac DiNapoli, and Adrianna DiNapoli. Her daughter-in-law, Carol Wilkinson and granddaughter-in-law, Jessica DiNapoli, as well as nieces and nephews, Leslie Shepard, Marlene Godwin, Diane Robbins, Judy Cheney, Carl Sapp, James Sapp, and Kenneth Sapp also survive. Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her parents, John Jefferson Sapp and Edith Ila Chaucy Sapp; a son, David Earl Wilkinson; a grandson, Charles DiNapoli; and her siblings, Carson Sapp, Ethyl Dozier, Mary Britt, Annie Bell Wilson, and Charles Sapp. Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
