STEPHEN TIMOTHY DUNNING,III

Stephen Timothy Dunning, III, age 63, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at his residence.

A memorial service for Mr. Dunning will be held on August 30, 2026 from 1:30-2:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Scott Messer officiating.

Mr. Dunning was born in Blakely, GA, on Feb. 2, 1963, to Stephen Timothy Dunning, Jr. and Peggy Brackin Dunning. He served his country in the US Navy, in addition to completing four years of college and receiving his RN degree.  Mr. Dunning worked with Sumter Regional Hospital for 19 years before retiring. He served his country, truly enjoyed working in the medical field, but most importantly he dearly loved his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Peggy Brackin Dunning; his sons, Patrick Dunning and Timothy Dunning; his grandchildren, Lleyton Dunning, Jerry Dunning, and Sarah Dunning; as well as his sister, Kim Whitaker and her husband Randy.

Mr. Dunning was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Timothy Dunning, Jr. and his nephew, Aaron Whitaker.
