Susie Robinson Black, age 74, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her residence.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Black will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Oakview Church of God with Rev. Mylan Brookins and Rev. Gary Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Bradley Grantham, Slade Alday, Jeremy Horne, Clent Mims, Wayne Gulsby and Vance Smith serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Black was born in Miller County, GA on January 26, 1949, to Mamie Robinson. She owned her own business, and many people knew her from selling Avon. She was a member of Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville, GA.

 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Bobby Black, Sr. of Donalsonville, GA; her daughter, Susan Brooks and her husband Steven of Donalsonville, GA; her son, Bobby Black, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; her grandsons, Samuel Brooks of Donalsonville, GA and Will Brooks of Bainbridge, GA; and her brother, George Murkerson.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Robinson.
