TERRY PHILLIPS

Terry Phillips, age 59, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services for Mr. Phillips will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating.  Interment will follow in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Paul Phillips, Tim McMillan, Cody Phillips, Charlie McMillan, Curt Phillips, and Shannon Phillips serving as active pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

Terry was born in Donalsonville, GA on Sept. 11, 1963, to James David and Mary Maxine Dorsett Phillips.  He was a general laborer, working in construction. Mr. Phillips enjoyed gardening and yardwork and was an avid wrestling watcher and enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Rocky Phillips and Tammy, Latharo Phillips, Chad Phillips, Georgia Jones and William, and Brantley McMillan and Brittany, all of Donalsonville, GA; his step-father, Bryan McMillan of Donalsonville, GA; his step-siblings, Raymond McMillan and Sally of Donalsonville, GA, Diane McMillan, Glen McMillan and Debbie, and Lee McMillan, Audrey Ingram and Murray all of Colquitt, GA; and Bruce McMillan and Leah of Valdosta, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his father, James David Phillips; his mother, Maxine Dorsett McMillan; his son, Gregory McMillan; his sister, Jeanie Hunt; and his brothers, Tony and Randy Phillips.
